After School Membership
The Boys & Girls Club of Milford offers memberships to 8-18 year olds in the Milford community. More than 70 youth attended our program each day after school in 2008-2009. We are open Monday through Friday from 2-8 pm from September through June. Our exceptional staff provides the members with a safe and positive atmosphere.
After school each day, members can take advantage of gamesroom activities such as tournaments, Staff Challenge Day, Movie Night, dances, game instruction, arts and crafts, and board game play. We enjoy keeping our members busy! Our gymnasium is a popular place, with dodge ball, 3 on 3 basketball, kick ball, or vollyeball games. Ten computers in our computer room are enabled with Internet access for use with homework, interactive game play, and surfing the Web. Homework Assistance operates daily, with a staf member overseeing the program and there to help as needed.
Weekly Programs
Smart Moves, a program designed to help youth stay away from alcohol, tobacco, and drug use through interactive, small-group activities.
Torch Club, a youth leadership group for 11-13 year old boys and girls who work together and implement club and community activities in four core areas.
Keystone Club, a youth leadership program for 14-18 year old boys and girls who work together and implement club and community activities in six core areas.
