JOEL E. SMILOW UNIT 3RD-8TH GRADE
3rd-8th graders can take advantage of group activities, sports, recreation, homework assistance, education programs, games room, computers, the arts, special events, and crafts 2:00 to 7 pm Monday through Friday. Boys and girls in this age group rotate around the building in 40 minute blocks. Access is available to our gamesroom (board games, billiards, foosball, table tennis), computer room, arts and crafts, drama, nutrition, drug and alcohol prevention, special events, Torch Club, and educational programs such as Immersion Science. A free Healthy Lifestyles nutritional dinner program is offered daily after 4 pm for all members.
After School Hours & Cost
Fridays October-April, 2-6 pm if not registered for TGIF (see below)
Parents can choose to pay all at once or split the payment in half:
First payment of $175 due by August 22, 2019
Second payment of $175 due by January 20, 2020
Any payments received after the above dates will result in a $30 increase of tuition.

Thank Goodness It's Friday! This weekly program is open to all members every Friday from January through April. The program runs from 6-9 pm and features weekly dance parties, sports tournaments, holiday parties, games room tournaments, scavenger hunts, computer games, video games, and karaoke.
Registration is required, even if you are already a Club member.
$10 to register, plus $3 per week.
Snow days, open 10 am - 6 pm (subject to change)
Free for members, $25 for nonmembers

Ansonia members are transported to our Clubhouse after school for free by Ansonia school bus. There is no transporation from the Ansonia Middle School.

For any child requiring epi-pens or inhalers, a completed Authorization for the Administration of Medicine Form must be submitted with the medicine. Children requiring these medicines may not attend without this correctly completed form; please see our Unit Director if you need one of these forms.
