Welcome to the Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse -

Opening on September 2, 2020

Effective Monday, February 1, 2021, all Ansonia Public Schools students in grades K-8 will attend school, full days, 4 days a week.  On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, the Boys & Girls Club will operate after school only (opening at 2:00pm and closing at 6:00pm).


On Wednesdays, the Club will accommodate the Full-Distance Learning Day, as we are currently doing (opening at 7:30am and closing at 6:00pm).



Distance Learning will be supported in the morning hours on Wednesdays, and regular Boys & Girls Club programming will be held each afternoon.


Masks must be worn by all members in the Club at all times. Members must provide their own mask.


$200 per month per child

$120 per month for each sibling

Full payment is due at registration. Payments may only be made with a credit/debit card online. No in-person payments will be accepted, no cash, no checks. 

Monthly rate only, no daily or weekly rates—the rate remains the same no matter how many or how few days your child attends. If your child is required to quarantine for any reason, there will be no prorating of fees or refunds given.

Please note: this price is subject to change if Ansonia Public Schools go back to hybrid or remote learning.


Enrollment Process

Registration is first come, first served. Once we reach the cap for each of our cohorts, registration will close.


Payment must be made online with a debit or credit card. No cash or checks will be accepted. To pay for subsequent months during the school year, click the purple payment button at the top of the page.


The following are required for registration:


  • Completed online membership application - click the Registration button at the bottom of this page

  • Payment in full for first month  

  • Completed Authorization to Administer Medicine form for any child who requires an epi-pen or inhaler. Download by clicking here or by clicking the image on the right. These forms must be signed by you and your child’s doctor.
