Welcome to the Joel E. Smilow Clubhouse - Opening on September 2, 2020
Our Smilow clubhouse will be open to students of Ansonia Public Schools, grades K-8. We will be open full days in support of the hybrid opening model.
For those members participating in their Distance Learning days, the Club will be open all day. Distance Learning will be supported in the morning hours, and regular after-school programming will be held each afternoon.
Members will be grouped into cohorts by school.
Hours & Daily Schedule (Monday-Friday)
7:30 - 9 am Drop Off/Breakfast/Check in to Assigned Groups
9-9:15 Morning Announcements
9:15-10:15 Distance Learning/Reading
11-12 Distance Learning/Reading
1-2 Distance Learning/Reading
2-6 After School Programming
By 6 pm Pick Up
This schedule is based upon the Ansonia Board of Education's suggestion to have the students work 3 hours daily on their school work during Distance Learning.
All programming and hours are subject to change.
*Our Clubhouse will be closed August 24-September 1 for school year preparations.
Masks must be worn by all members in the Club at all times. Members must provide their own mask.
$340 per month per child
$200 per month for each sibling
Full payment is due at registration. Payments may only be made with a credit/debit card online. No in-person payments will be accepted, no cash, no checks.
Monthly rate only, no daily or weekly rates—the rate remains the same no matter how many or how few days your child attends.
Registration is first come, first served. Once we reach the cap for each of our cohorts, registration will close.
Payment must be made online with a debit or credit card. No cash or checks will be accepted. To pay for subsequent months during the school year, click the purple payment button at the top of the page.
To start on the first day of school, September 2, 2020, registration and payment is due no later than August 28, 2020 at 6 pm.

Completed Authorization to Administer Medicine form for any child who requires an epi-pen or inhaler. Download by clicking here or by clicking the image on the right. These forms must be signed by you and your child’s doctor.
